While there were a couple of hiccups, I’m glad to admit that I was able to push through and prepare the following components, all of which reflects on my newfound perception of the Braun Series 3 and its potential as an electric shaver!
Shaving Efficiency
The Braun Series 3 blew me away with its shaving abilities, surpassing my initial expectations.
The motor of the device, despite being labelled as slow, captures tons of hair as long as you’re able to press the foils against your skin.
The pairing of the foils and middle trimmer is beyond amazing as well, wasting no time in chopping both long and short pieces from my facial hair.
In fact, with a few extra swipes, the device can shave as deep as some of the best close-shaving performers in the business!
Skin Comfort
Despite being made of nickel, I must say that the SensoFoils feel extremely generous when placed on my skin, maintaining a room temperature to further ensure a state of comfort.
As long as you don’t apply too much pressure, I’d say that the SensoFoils and Middle trimmer of the Series 3 should feel no different in terms of safety as opposed to its successors!
Pivoting Head Flexibility
The pivoting head is a solid component with its firmness if you’re anticipating a close shave like I always do.
However, the stiffness is also a drawback of the device, limiting its motion, as well as its agility.
Though the former shouldn’t pose a threat for normal skin, I believe those with sensitive skin might suffer the consequences of the restricted movement of the Series 3’s shaving head.
